At times, Paris… there’s no other place I’d rather be besides New York and there’s nothing better than coming home to my two daughters, my husband and my inner circle.
I just love sitting on the couch, teaching my daughters French while having a cup of thé. Have you ever sampled Kusmi thé? It’s delicious and one of our favorite places to shop in Paris. Do try it if you plan to visit Paris.
“Merci beaucoup, KC ! Thank you for always being there for me, for us…”
–L❤️VE always, Madeleine
One thing I love about our home is looking out the window with a view of the Jardin du Luxembourg. It’s so pretty even though my country and its culture is dying. But we can still come back home from time-2-time, right? It’s a shame because we rarely leave our place, and we never leave without our men. We do have specific places that we shop and dine at, and lucky for us that KC has long friendships with the owners of those establishments — and what might those place be? Keep guessing…
Ah, spring is near, and the boys of summer will take the field, and soon our men will start complaining about the Yankees. But KC, he takes it to a whole other level. It’s as if he has a personal vendetta with the team.
Anyway, it’s time to finish this little post, as I sit in the dining room surrounded by the ones I love. And from time-2-time, I glance at KC as he’s writing his next novel just for us. As usual, he staring at the bowl of fruit in the center of our dining room table. I guess, after all this time he was right. Right about what? Well, that’s all in his books and the times I share with him.
Je t’aime, KC !
P.S. KC smiled at me, and he increased the volume coming from our stereo playing Le Coup de Soleil by Richard Cocciante. Do you know of this French singer? If not, have a listen to him. It’s beautiful, he has such a wonderful voice.
P.S.S. If you like to listen to an array of French music. Tune into Chante France. They play all of the good songs.
