life’s too short for bullshit

Life’s too short for bullshit. That’s something I couldn’t stop whispering to myself.
“Yeah, Doc.”
“What are you thinking about?”
“Yes, you.”
“I just want to smell the air and can you hear the birds?” I paused. “I want Emmanuelle sitting on my lap and Isabelle by my side.”
“Yeah, Doc.”
“What are you really thinking about?”
I turned to my left, leaned in and said, “Am I dead, Doc?”
“No,” Doc laughed. “I don’t think so.”
“Maybe I should have a real doctor check me out. I’ll see what the girls are doing later.”
“You do that,” Doc paused. “You didn’t answer my question.”
“I just want a normal or just a touch of a normal life Doc.”
“I know KC. We all do…”

Annotation: Ah, life’s little conundrums, the day’s ins and outs of life’s uncertainties, wasted thoughts, frivolous feelings—a little pro-tip readers; if the heart is pure and honest, without walls or distractions by one’s selfish acts, then such tedious debates would not take place that taints one’s heart—in short, life’s too short for bullshit…
