What to expect when you move to Paris. First of all, you’ll need a good plan and a boat load of money because you’ll have to go in with the mindset of hoping for the best, and expecting the worst.
I want you to know that life in Paris is not a YouTube video or an Instagram post; having coffee at a cafe or taking a stroll along the Seine River or posing for photos. We’re talking about picking yourself up, and moving to another country to start a new life or a new career. If you do go that route, it’s time to put on your big boy pants on and start to do adult things with adult decisions. I’m especially targeting this towards the younger generation: you have to be bold and show them what you got because your talking about a country which is pretty much a do-nothing country.
“Let go, I got a feeling that it’s time to let go. I said so, I knew that this was doomed from the get-go.”
One of the most important things that you’ll have to do is to study the French language. I want you to be prepared for many obstacles and to get in the mindset that you will fail, and that’s a good thing. Be prepared for a ton of bullshit and lots of culture shock, and if you’re interested in starting your own business in Paris — be prepared to work with some of the laziest people on the face of Earth who are content with a meteoric lifestyle with a mountain of bureaucracy — in other words, you’ll be like Paul Taylor, What the Fuck France?
Anyway, good luck, work hard and keep that chin up high, and one more thing I’d like to point out or maybe I should just smack you in the face so you’ll wake the fuck up! To all those who are moving to another city or another country. It’s just moving, that’s all. You make it sound like a major god damn fuckin’ journey. Don’t fall for all that social media crap. Most of you are either lost or lost what little you have of your life, and thinking that you can run away from shadow. Well, here’s a pro-tip: you can’t run away from your shadow, and it’s time to grow up and grow some balls. Has the world become a bunch of fuckin’ butt-fuckin’ ass pussies? YEP!
Part two: Whatever you do, do not fall in love with a French man for the ladies or a French woman for a men. Parisians have to be the worst when it comes to relationship; the first of all the French tend to lie a lot and bullshit, their openness is too open and they’re full of excuses. Don’t tell me that I didn’t warn you. — I lived in France long enough and my wife would agree, a French country woman and not a Parisian woman — Thank God!
Part three: If you’re going to Paris for the sex of it, wear a condom, wear two condoms because you can never be so sure. Be prepared for booooorrrrring ass conversations, pessimism out the ass, and a lot of god damn whining and mumbling. France is a depressed nation and it’s people, too. Just take a look when you walk around Paris. Anyway, if you really want to take a good look at the French, just look at their parents. Hey, don’t get me wrong. It’s all in the French culture, their culture. My values just don’t measure up to theirs because I have values. Ouch, that had to hurt, the truth that is… Good!
But if you’re lucky, like me, you’ll love it!
P.S. Pro-tip. If you want to be successful in France, you need to brush up on the art of bullshit and the art of blackmail — don’t ask…
